「The Beach Hotel is a social enterprise run by the YMCA as an apprenticeship scheme. In light of this we had quite modest expectations for our stay. But these were misplaced - the hotel is spotlessly clean, and run by professional, welcoming staff. The occasion was a large family reunion, and the restaurant served us all with a good simple dinner in an efficient and timely way. Service was excellent. 「Nice refurbished old hotel with good parking. Check-in staff were excellent. The common areas were well maintained although in a few places paint was showing a little wear in the stairs to the courtyard rooms. The room was an old style room but well repurposed, everything was well cleaned. The bathroom was new and excellently maintained with everything working well and the water nice and hot. The spa, gym and pool were well equipped, although in an unusual configuration- steam room and sauna...
