“This apartment is a great find! stunning views and large and well equipped. The pictures in the website do not do it justice! We loved just sitting on the terrace, having supper and looking out onto the lake. The host was exceptional in her communication and we found the apartment easily. We had hired a car for our stay, but you could easily stay here without a car. The bus stop is at the bottom of the road - 10 mins walk up/down the hill. The bus would take you all around the lake.Thanks Sue……

“Der Blick über den See ist wunderschön. Das Haus ist quasi in einen Wohnbereich und einen Schlafbereich unterteilt, was auch sehr gut ist. Zwei Türen zwischen diesen Bereichen (und der Eingangsbereich) reduzieren den Lärmpegel aus dem Wohnzimmer / der Küche bestens. Die Küche ist gut organisiert und alle Geräte sind vorhanden. Wie im Inserat erwähnt, kann man nicht direkt mit dem Auto vor das Haus fahren, sondern muss einen Weg gehen - dieser scheint aus Zeiten des alten Roms zu sein, und sehr……

“The apartment was amazing! AC worked well and the host Marco was wonderful. Plenty of room for 3 of us and the patio was great to lounge on and look at the beautiful lake and mountains. It is on a busy road so you can’t walk to town. Taxis are really expensive ( I don’t recommend using Donicar, he charged us 30 to go to town 2 km away), rent a car if you can there is a parking garage in Varenna.The little beach was the highlight of our stay. We went swimming every day and the water was so clean……
