"The minimal accommodation conveniences of this four cabin resort encouraged me to keep it simple; savor the Northwoods, sunshine, wind, water, kayak, canoe, swim beach and awesome lake view. The Ely Blueberry Art Festival and local fish meals were a perk. Manager Jay assisted me with my kayak and was around daily checking to see that all was well. Great stay. Coming back another time."

It is clean, has comfortable beds, is big enough for everyone to have their own space and it was well stocked with everything you needed to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. "We had a very awesome stay! The popup camper was clean and the heat and stove worked great! This is definitely a get away and not for those that are not campers. Jimmy was responsive and there to help with check in. We would stay on the island again."

"Very cute property. The bed was very comfortable, one of the best motel beds I’ve been in! Front desk was super kind and welcoming. My only ‘issue’ was the shower… it would go from an ideal temperature to scalding hot, back to normal, and then to freezing cold and back to normal repeatedly. Other than that it was a great stay and I would definitely go back. "
