Situated close enough to Chateabriant to be convenient for sightseeing/shopping/meals out, but far enough to be peaceful and relaxing. The host, Melanie, literally could not do enough for us. "We stayed in this house and although it was nice we couldn’t sit outside very much because of a massive influx of wasps for the whole 2 weeks which was a shame as it was hot, we have stopped at other places that are next to farms etc. but on this occasion they were doing a massive building project and it was noisy and very dusty and on the odd day muddy. For the price all the services should be included. Also I had to pay a big deposit which is also a first as we always look after our holiday...

"I would not reccomend anyone to stay here. we had a nighmare stay the kitchen, bathroom, and shower room were so dirtyUnable to use the kettle it was so bad had to go out and buy one , we had to chuck a bucket of water down the loo each time to flush it The washer was so dirty we couldnt use it . Staes there is 2 bikes there were no bikes in sight . This place totally ruiened our holiday. We were so glad to move on to our next place "

"Stayed for 3 nights in October 2025. The stay was very pleasant. The room was comfortable, warm and clean. The hosts were very accommodating and done rverything to make my stay plesent. The property is in a very nice, remote, and quiet area. Chateaubriant is a ten minute drive away, with lots of nice restaurants. Dinner one evening was very plesent and good value for money. Would definitely return. "
