The best thing living in the water villa is that the ocean is just a staircase away. 1, 2, 3, and there is the coral reef. Whole island is surrounded by corals of different colours. The water is not so deep but just as clear as possible to let you see all the living creatures. I was lucky to meet a giant turtle twice in front of my villa. This was our first visit to Maldives. The stay at Mirhi Island Resort exceeded our expectations on all levels. The staff team & service was outstanding. Beautiful resort, amazing food, great service. The Maldives are absolute paradise. We enjoyed Lily Beach with our 4 month old baby. If you can, pay the extra for a lagoon villa. We had a lagoon villa for 7 nights. On check out day we were kindly moved to a beach villa for the last few hours. The lagoon villa was so much nicer, lighter, bigger and with beautiful sea views.

Beautiful coral right at the resort. We did lots of snorkeling by simply swimming out from our water villa. Hotel staff members were friendly and polite. We enjoyed fully during our short stay at the resort. We checked in our room right when we arrived at 8am and enjoyed our breakfast there.
