I think Richie deserves a special shout-out… he led us to the river, hung out with us on the porch, and was just the cutest and most incredible little adventure buddy. For any rockhounds out there, this is the perfect place to find agates and chalcedony… either down on the San Juan river or 20 minutes over at Wolf Creek...

「The house was great - perfect for large groups!! But be prepared and bring your own toiletries - no soap, shampoo, etc. provided. There was also only a few dishwasher tablets, and only 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom. We ended up purchasing these items while there.」

「Very nice setting and location. descent sized rooms. furniture is a little warn and uncomfortable. We had no hot water the first night but the local folks worked hard to get it fixed asap. They also came right away to fix a faucet that broke. Kitchen was pretty well stocked but some stuff needs replacing i.e. hot pads, towels, Knives, etc. Plenty of blankets, firewood and propane along with plenty enough kitchen and bathroom supplies for a few days. 「We loved the location. It is quiet and secluded with refreshing mountain air and mountain creek. We could have used better and brighter lighting. The stovetop and bathroom heater needed cleaning. Otherwise it was clean and very welcoming. Thank you!!」

「Our group of eight (4 adults and 4 teens) and two dogs stayed at the house in January. It was a very comfortable house with a well stocked kitchen and a great location. It was an easy drive into town and a reasonable drive up to Wolf Creek. There are beautiful views and lots of comfortable places to hang out and play board games. I would definitely come back!!」

「The place was roomy and accommodating. We had 4 guys, so it was nice not to have to share beds and to be able to spread out the snorers. Pros: -Spacious open feel -Hot tub -Everything as advertised -About as close to Wolf Creek as you can get Cons: (these are minor picky things) -Cookware was pretty basic -Had to do some snow shoveling to access the back porch -for some reason I imagined a remote cabin with a pond- it was actually a complex of many cabins on the property- but still quiet...
