“A somewhat quirky place with super helpful staff, great rooms (fabulous en suite) and an interesting menu. The food was absolutely first class - well presented and very tasty. It was just a one night stay for me after a few days' camping but I'll certainly look to return for a longer visit next time I'm in the area. Brekkie was pretty good as well.”

“Faultless stay! Lovely calm location, very quiet and relaxing place to stay. Home away from home! I cannot stress how wonderfully clean it was, with excellent facilities. Very comfy bed, great shower! I enjoyed being welcomed back by a very sweet little black cat every evening! Lovely walks to the beach right on the doorstep. We will definitely be staying here again, would 100% recommend.”

“We flew from Texas to Buckfastleigh for a vacation with family. We loved the house and the host, Shelley and Pete, made us feel welcome the moment we arrived. We stayed 3 nights and loved it. Each morning she provided a huge variety of delicious breakfast items. The beds were comfortable and all the rooms were clean. The bathroom has a beautiful shower and bathtub with heated floors and a heated towel rack. Everything is provided that you could possibly need. We had tea, coffee, and snacks in……
