“Check-in went through a little bit of difficulty as the door needed more push to open, but the host was fast to respond. Clean rooms and spacious space. LOVE the hot tub! Fun house for a night getaway trip around Ithaca”

“Came for 3 days to visit Cornell with my daughter and this home was perfect. Small, yet not lacking anything, rustic but lacking none of the modern tech. The backyard waterful, fire pit and views are worth the stay alone. Would definitely stay again.”

“We had a great weekend staying in the property. The wood burner was great for a chilly early spring weekend, Elizabeth was very clear and accommodating in her communications making it very easy and everything was just great. My only regret is not booking the third night to stay for the Solar Eclipse and to get to explore the property further. We thoroughly enjoyed the area and the accommodations at the Yurt were perfect for my wife and I!”

“The location directly on the lake is amazing with large grassy yard right up to the lake’s edge without need for any steps…surrounded by 270 degrees of water. House itself is modest and quaint with nice furnishings and decorations and very comfortable beds and well appointed with everything you’d need for a lake vacation. Hanging out in the hot tub and dock at sunset over the lake was the best! Highly recommend this rental!”

“The single-lane access road to the cabin has several sharp bends to get to and from the location, but once you are there, it's very relaxing. Not small, but just big enough. Very clean and everything works. My wife and I enjoyed our stay. Monica was easily reachable for any questions.”

“My husband, adult daughter and her friend stayed at the Guesthouse for 3 nights. We were traveling to see the eclipse. The Guesthouseat the Woodlands appealed to us because of it's proximity to nice places to hike. The Guesthouse was perfect for the 4 of us. It was very clean, very well equipped and very comfortably outfitted with cozy living room furnitureThe beds were very comfortable as well. It was too chilly to spend much time sitting on the lovely porch but we did make use of the hot……

“We really enjoyed staying in this little home. It is within walking distance of downtown Watkins Glen so it is very easy to walk to if you choose to do so. The inside was very clean and well kept. We liked the close proximity to various winerys and restaurants. It made it very easy to stop back and drop off our goodies we collected throughout the days we were there.”

“We truly enjoyed our stay during my nieces graduation. Instructions from the host are very detailed, clear and easy to follow. Although due to the chilly temps and cloudy skies we didn’t use any watercraft or hang out very much on the deck, we were comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped and great.”

“Comfortable, cosy bungalow that is exactly as described & pictured on Vrbo. The gracious, friendly owners are onsite & greeted us when we arrived & said goodbye when we departed. The bungalow features a great layout for two couples as there are two king bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, one of which has a second door to the common area. These private areas are separated by the living room, dining room, & kitchen which provides some welcome privacy. An SUV or 4-wheel drive car may be helpful……

“Stayed here with my mom and sister. It was clean, cute, comfy and a great place to chill with a breathtaking view of the lake. Not as steep of a walk to the water as many other rentals on the lake and not a ton of stairs either. It was chilly when we were there but the mini split and pellet stove kept us super cozy. The hot tub was great! Would love to come back and bring my kids sometime. One of the best rentals I have stayed at. A few restaurants, and wineries a short drive away but remote……

“We had such a wonderful family vacation at the Climbing Vine Cottage. The host provided coloring supplies, toys, & books for our children. My husband & I enjoyed relaxing in front of the pellet stove. & to our surprise, we even experienced our first snow of the season during our stay. So grateful for the hosts quick responses & recommendations for local restaurants & activities. I highly recommend this spot for your next family getaway!”

Very close to Watkins Glen, Seneca Lake, and Finger Lakes National Forest. We also visited Geneva, Seneca Falls, Ithaca, and Taughhannock State Forest.”

“是一个老牌酒店，其实清洁跟员工服务都不错，可能因为前2年covid住得人少，导致我们半夜枕头上不停爬出来小虫子，很害怕爬到我女儿的小鼻子小耳朵里，半夜给我们换了房间。第二晚的房间也顺利退掉了。但如果家具设备不彻底翻新我应该不会再住。”
