“Breakfast was among the best we’ve ever had. The staff paid attention to every detail. Eco friendly touches did not detract from comfort and convenience. Glenorchy was peaceful and quiet and a perfect antidote to ski days in Queenstown. One of my favorite spots was the covered outdoor fireplace savoring a hot chocolate or a whiskey on a freezing night. I live a long way from New Zealand, but hope to return at some point.”

“This hotel is beyond my expectations. Food is delicious. The stuff provided a service better than a five star hotel and they are very sincere, especially a lovely lady , was relentless calling for me to arrange a last mins helicopter tour. Best wishes to them ”

“Extraordinarily I stayed three nights there, I regret I should stay longer All out of expectation, it's a place not usual 5stars you experienced. With super nice staff and owner The garden is gorgeous Views are excellent Will back again.”

“I had a wonderful stay at Pen-y-bryn Lodge. The property is a beautiful historic building with a peaceful atmosphere, and the room was spacious, spotless, and full of character. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming, making the stay feel warm and personal. Overall, a fantastic experience — I would highly recommend this lodge to anyone visiting Oamaru.”

“Room’s clean. Staffs are helpful. Overall very good value for money. ”

“Tastefully decorated rooms. Pool and spa available. Small establishment so felt quite private. Staff always avaliable and very friendly and helpful. Across the road from the beach.”
