I’ve been staying at Lakeland for 10+ years

This year my stay was by far the worst compared to the last 9 years. My family and I have our annual vacation to South Lake Tahoe every year. This location changes management every single year and can’t seem to keep a good management. Vacasa is by far the worst management here at Lakeland village. Highly unhelpful with guest needs. Won’t be returning and definitely won’t be recommending to others any more.

Great location, but not well maintained

We’re regulars to Tahoe and stayed at this property (Lakeland village) for the first time. The location is great, bang in the middle of South Lake Tahoe. The beds and sheets were clean and comfortable. However, the rest of the house definitely needed more maintenance. - The carpet in the house was so dirty that all our socks would be dark brown by evening, just walking inside the cabin. - There is so much slippery ice at the entrance to the house, even though it hasn’t snowed in weeks. We were told snow and ice cleanup is handled by the HOA and not the property management company. Either way, it’s very easy to slip on the sleet due to bad management. - All the batteries in the house were almost dead - TV remotes work the first few times every day and then stop working, the thermostat had similar issues. Needless to say, we will not be staying at this property again.
