Don't waste your money. There's nothing "resort" about this place. It took 55 minutes to get checked in and, mind you, it's not yet the busy period. Two staff were checking in with several waiting. Check in staff also serve as the hotel store staff - the people checking in before us wanted to purchase ...

Ramada by Wyndham & Suites South Padre Island
I stayed just 1 night. The place looks a little tired. They remodeled recently but still has that old worn out feel. The room price at $87 was good since the place was about that level.

El Delfín Lodge
Clean room and very comfortable stay. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and communicated well throughout the visit. The pool area is a great place to relax. Overall, a very pleasant experience and I would definitely stay here again.

Hilton Garden Inn South Padre Island Beachfront
Hotel was nice and clean, though you can tell it’s starting to age. Pillows were way too soft! Breakfast buffet was ok. Would have loved to have bacon and grits as an option. And also some cut up fruit. There was an option of a whole orange and banana though. Their “Quiet Hours” are from 9pm-8am. ...
