    Amazing property Tallowood South West Rocks

    We had an amazing stay at Tallowood - we were really impressed by the property and location . We had a small issue with the hot water first night which was very quickly rectified by the good folks at SWR Accomodation . Thank you for making our stay memorable .

    Tallowood south west rocks !

    we had saved up for a year to take our family and a friends family away for 4 days . We’re so excited , drove from Sydney to southwest rocks and got there at 11am . We called the real estate on the way up in the car to say we were arriving early and was it possible to get the keys as it says that’s an option if no one is renting the place that day . The receptionist was so rude on the phone to us and said no you can’t there are people there checking out and cleaners going there to clean the property so we would have to wait until 1pm . So that’s what we did we waited with 5 kids to get the keys and when we walked in at 12.50 pm To collect them we were greeted so rudely by the receptionist , she pretty much threw the keys on the desk and barked like a dog at us !! Reason not known but found out later she is know for being like that ! Anyways we found our own way up to the place after some help from locals and an old lady who helped us open a private gate that we had no idea about or even if it was the right place ! , it was perfect , best view etc but then we went to put the fire on and there was no fire wood , then we started to look around and you could tell no one had been there for ages ! So we had been lied to about the cleaners being there while we waiting in the morning ! Then on Saturday we lose all water 💦 No Taps no showeres no water working at all . We decided to go down the beach and have a swim and then see if it came back on later . Then Saturday night it still wasn’t on so we had a look around and it seemed like the little old pump that is servicing the whole place wasn’t working . As it was too late to ring the real Estate we waited until Sunday morning to call them and they got the property manager John to come and have a look at the problem ! He was so lovely and helpful and apologetic and said he didn’t know we were coming and if he did he would have got the place ready , regarding fire wood etc and he said the pump had been in getting fixed 2 weeks again but because it was Sunday there wasn’t much open so he just had a tinker and it ran for about 20 mins then stopped again ! So our wives had had enough by now and especially with a 2 year old girl with us decided it was just too hard and decided to go home ! As it was in humane conditions by this stage . Couldn’t even wash our hands !! Then on Monday morning we called the real estate again who were no help and didn’t even have the respect to apologise
