“The check in wasn't smooth. The owner didn't respond quickly. I had to wait and call her for more than 25 minutes to get a response.”

“A disappointing experience! A very low level motel, yet room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The first night was fine. The second night was uncomfortable as it sounded like people were moving furniture upon arriving at 10 pm. Then at 4:30 am more noise, and they left. At 6:00 am they were back and more noise. It is obvious that the motel is a also a “type of rooming house” Buyer beware! ”

“Would have liked to see a children's play room as beach vacations are common for the area. The pool area could use some change room and pool toys”

“Be sure to take the cancellation insurance. The owner doesn’t budge on this and when you call him he just says that you need to work with Expedia. Generally the check in process worked pretty well.”

“Overall, we were satisfied with our stay. The only disappointment was that the smoke alarm went off around 8:00 a.m., waking everyone up. We weren’t sure why it happened, as there didn’t seem to be any emergency or activity at the time. Since we had checked in around 8:00 p.m. after a long four-hour drive, we were hoping to get some extra rest. Other than that, we had a pleasant stay.”

“The room was nice and clean. Beds were very comfortable. The room could have been a bit bigger. Very quiet at night. Not quite walking distance to tge beach but a very short drive. Close to grocery stores. For elder people it is better to stay on the ground floor as lugging your suitcase etc. Up is a bit of work.”

“We really enjoyed our time at this property. Quiet area, comfortable beds, and everything was exactly as described. Excellent communication from the host and an easy check-in process.”

“Hotel was old house that had been converted to an Inn. Amenities only included two bath towels and one hand towel. No extra toilet paper. No wash clothes. Rooms had not been updated/painted in maybe 30-35 years. Steps were very steep and shallow. The only thing that kept the rating from being lower was the staff. They were pleasant when asked for something.”
