“Me and my boyfriend had a good stay at this property. It has parking for anyone hiring a car. The host was great, offering breakfast and lifts if needed. There was a language barrier but anyone who is not Spanish can just use google translate and it is easy enough. We had full use of his flat including the kitchen etc. Cheaper alternative to hotels and a nicer option than hostels. ”

“Great location, relatively busy street, hot water smelled a bit but that is to be expected. Internet connection was a bit slow to watch tv or a movie. Close enough to walk to the church and shopping area. Ice can only be found at the grocery store, Kronan. State run liquor store Vinbudin is the best place to buy beer besides the airport. Don’t trust the gps in the car, it brought us down many dead ends”

“This place was really nice! It’s an old house, but very cute. Everything works and is very comfortable. It is fully furnished. It has a huge TV and many interesting books that we enjoyed. It’s also walkable to the harbor + some other bakeries and activities. Andrew l, the host was very nice and helped us a lot with getting comfortable. He also gave us many awesome recommendations nearby! Highly recommend this place. ”

“This place is in the perfect location, very walkable to many shops and restaurants. A 5 min walk to Hallgrimskirkja Church. You don’t really need a car, and go small if you do, tight streets. We had a car mainly to see the lights and we were successful, though with an early flight the next day we paid a bit of a price. The house was as described, the beds were excellent. Heated towel racks and floors were a pleasant surprise. Good espresso machine and excellent tap water. Sofa bed was……

“A clean, comfortable, and cozy family home. Though buses or taxis are required to get to downtown and local supermarkets, the proximity to a complex with a large public swimming pool, small zoo, botanical gardens, and one amazing trampoline makes it an ideal location for families with children who need a break from sightseeing. Our host was flexible and helpful and we enjoyed our stay!”
