“We had a great stay. We were able to easily walk across the street and see the amazing Hawks Nest views, and we ate dinner at the restaurant there overlooking the river. It was a pretty quick drive over to the Canyon Rim visitor center at New River Gorge, and we spent the day hiking and fishing in the park. “This home was in perfect distance to all activities in the national Park area! Right in the middle of restaurants and a grocery store. The house was fantastic with all amenities. Owners were friendly and communication was great. If you are checking our West Virginia New River gorge area this is a place to stay! ”

“We loved Cardinal Cottage. Location was perfect for all the hiking and sight-seeing we wanted to do. The house was very cute, very clean, and very well stocked. It had everything we needed. Host was extremely responsive. The neighborhood is quiet with glorious trees and some wildlife to observe. We could not have been happier.”

“It was a clean house on a quiet street close to Concord University. Peaceful setting. Short drive to Princeton when we wanted to eat out or shop. We had activities at the university so it was nice and close. House is as listed, older but very nice and a great place to relax and get away. Beautiful area.”

“House was quaint and beautiful. Street location has a high volume of traffic which makes it noisy. But house was clean and well cared for. Would have appreciated some extra amenities like board games, books, and other stuff to do during rain/storms. Would have loved a coffee maker as well. Not much into the K Cups. Maybe having both?”

“The owners were super! Plenty of parking and COVERED parking for your UTV. They had our trail passes ready for us and anything else we needed.(ice,bottled water)Our dog Copper was very comfortable here and loved the dog visits from William and Jennifers dogs as well as the neighbors dogs. It was clean and comfortable. Perfect location for trail riding Bearwallow and Rockhouse. Washer & Dryer made my weekend..I like going home with my clothes already washed!”

“We enjoyed our stay along the New River Gorge in Meadow Creek. The bungalow was kept simple with furnishings. The beaded ceiling molding for the walls and the ceiling with the massive baseboards are classic for the era it was built. The updated tub/shower and furnishings made it very comfortable. “The property is very comfortable, clean, and cozy! We very much enjoyed our stay while we ventured about the many places to see in the area. Wish it would have been a little warmer outside, so we could have enjoyed the screened in porch. The property has everything you need and then some. Owners are very nice and accommodating! We would definitely stay here again!”

“Clean and cute! Excellent communication from hosts Huge Fully equipped kitchen and island for cooking and snacking. The backyard was big and fenced for privacy. There are large gaps under the fence so keep a close eye on pets and little ones. The location was super convenient, though we experienced road noise from the big hiway. The third bedroom has a cute little bunk bed , could be a little tight for adults- worked out well for us. We recommend and would stay again!”

“AMAZING! It had extra trash bags, dishwasher pods; the things you need to leave it the way you found it. The hot tub was the reason we booked this cottage. It was a welcoming spot to relax after running the 50K in town. The fire pit was a nice way to unwind upon arrival. Thank you for thinking of all the little things. This cottage had raised the bar for all of our future VBROs.”
