“Very walkable property to the downtown. Parking convenient. Room was dated and not serviced until we left, so after 4 days trash and dirty linens were piled. Life machine didn’t work, no fridge, tv didn’t work, lighting was poor. Dated and tired room that needed refreshed.”

“Things did not go as plan. I got the insurance for my trip thankfully but I was told upon check-in that I did not have a room because someone checked me in earlier and my trip was canceled. The FDC went to the back “got my booking situation” then gave me a room they had available, this is what I was told it was supposed to be a different rate and everything. It was not I just got off the phone they charged the the same amount and said my booking was never cancelled eventhough I have the emails……

“Great place, very clean and the view was beautiful. Only downside was they only had 3 handicap spots and the paid parking was a very long walk. They had valet but we like to do it ourselves. They didn’t have enough bag carts and wanted to put you on a waiting list to get one. Also, only had elevators at one end of the resort and it was a very long walk to the gulf view rooms.”

“The front desk was greatly understaffed when a bus load of seniors arrived to check in. There was only one young man working and he was overwhelmed so the process was painfully slow for those of us waiting to check in after that group. When a manager (?) finally showed up, she started quizzing the young worker instead of jumping in to help. As far as the room goes, I suggest asking to be in the back building unless you want to start smelling the breakfast being cooked at 6am. Lastly, checkout……

“Our stay was more than we could've imagined - beautiful historic property in a quaint area. Staff made us feel like family and looked after our every need. The Bistro was the topper - great staff, great food!! We had dinner and our complimentary breakfast there, and it's just kitty-corner to the hotel! Highly recommend and we'll be back!”
