“It was clean the only problem was there was no parking for mi at the time,so I have to park my truck out side of the property. ”

“Cabins located in a beautiful wooded setting. Quiet & peaceful. Front desk staff friendly and helpful. Extras needed items could be purchased at the office. Our cabin was clean and provided a King bed, full bath, microwave, small refrig, coffee pot, plates/utensils for two, and wine glasses. They also provided an eco friendly log for the fireplace which made the stay perfect.”

“We arrived after 10:00 PM and we were greeted by the most adorable inn keeper. Our room was large and clean and accommodating and comfortable. On our trips, we try to find mom and Pop motels and hotels to stay in because they make the trip fun. Butterfield was no exception. We loved it. The exterior was a bit rough, the signed had some electrical issues, but that just added to the enchantment. Inside was very clean. The end keeper greeted us as we were getting ready to leave and showed us around……

“I messed up my reservation days when I set it up on line. The guy who checked us in was asleep in the back room and came out groggy and angry at us. He told me we were supposed to be here yesterday and it’s already paid for. I agreed I made a mistake and asked how to fix it. He was fixated on showing me my mistake on the computer. I didn’t care and asked him again to fix the problem. When he seemed to only want to argue I said I will just deal with the website and go somewhere else. Then……

“Absolutely love this mom and pop place! This place has history and you can tell the owners and staff do there best to preserve this hidden treasure. I loved the way they reached out the day we were set to arive to confirm our arival and give us directions. This motel is tucked behind a gas station so convenient if you need a snack or any other item. Close to downtown, hot springs, farmers market and Elephant Butte. Very clean and there is a slight smell due to the natrual age of the building. We……

“Couldn't check in. I was charged for the room you took the payment it's documented in my credit card account but your company fails to send the hotel the vittural payment so I was not allowed a room. I ended up paying for a room bypassing Hotels.com and it was not a good experience. I may never use Hotels.com again.”

“This property was everything it promised to be on the VRBO site. We visited LC to relax and to look at future retirement options. We had a plan for checking out restaurants, new home communities, etc., but the house was so cute and welcoming that we ended up spending most of our time either in the backyard or the TV room!
