“Staff was friendly, had good coffee ready out in the lobby very early in the morning. My wife was impressed that they had soft water to shower in. Her hair turned out amazing for photos. We spent much time at their cozy lounge in the evening after all the hiking. Had breakfast across the street...it was excellent. The hot tubs were set at 104 degrees that evening which is commendable. And ofcourse their location in the heart of that beautiful canyon is remarkable. I am willing to pay more to……

“We brought our dog. The hotel accommodated us no problem, room was clean. Staff was very friendly as well. Breakfast was not that great for me due to my diet limitations. Other than that I would stay here again should I be in the area ”

“Lovely historical hotel. Room was nicely appointed. There is an elevator ( surprising for an older hotel) it is locked down in the evening tho. Casino in the lobby but that is typical for Deadwood. ”

“The room was clean, the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was wonderful, fresh sweet rolls every morning. We enjoyed the smoking lounge, where we watched a baseball game. Also, enjoyed the casino attached. All in all, a great stay. ”
