「Great place!」

「The room did not appear as the picture advertised. There was a smell of urination in the room. The place is outdated in need of redo. The air conditioner was very loud and we had to unplug it in order to sleep at night. The TV did not work. When I voiced these concerns to the staff, it was brushed aside with a comment "yes that has been said before". The area was unsafe to walk in. I would not recommend this place.」

「一間國際油名的酒店, 在整體管理及房間清潔低於一般水平. 我住兩晚, 竟然沒有人清潔房間,廢紙箱內仍然有垃圾, 沒有更新毛巾, 及收拾床舖, 查問前台人員, 竟然對答時執房的政策是alternative day收拾房間, 即是我住兩晚不會有清理房間的服務. 早上在大堂升降機與一名應該是酒店的管理人員一同乘搭, 升降機地面有水漬, 我跟他說有水漬, 他只是笑一笑, 我回來再乘搭升降機時竟然沒有清潔. 其次所謂歐陸式早餐, 冇乜選擇, 咖啡非常普通, 將預製食物翻熱, 只係讚的是,工作人員清潔台面十分努力, 對這間酒店有少少失望.」

「Arrived very late. Basically only time to sleep. Was quiet enough to sleep in.」

「The staff and room we had were lovely, however soundproofing between the rooms could be significantly better… I was awoken in the middle of night to a woman screaming at the top of her lungs for what felt like forever…. I did call the front desk and they seemed to take care of what I later found out was a domestic dispute… but unfortunately that completely ruined my one “peaceful” night away from my kids, and we were not offered any discount or anything other than a “sorry about that”」

「The TV did not work, the phone did not work, electronic foor lock did not work, the property was run down and unkept, the room was dated with damaged furniture and equipment, no exhaust fan in the bathroom. The room was very expensive and they charged $25.00 per day for parking. Over rated and over priced. There are far better hotels in St John’s for less money. Don’t stay here!」

「The location is nice and central. Walkable to restaurants. They have updated the lobby but nothing else. Bathroom was not cleaned very well. Only 2 bath towels for a reservation for 4 people, we did get more upon request. Shampoo and body wash in the shower were completely empty. The conditioner didn’t function well and you weren’t allowed to see it any cooler than 70. Pool for the kids was out of order. Even the indicator lights on the call buttons for the elevators were burnt out.」

「Liked: room size and layout; easy parking and access; closet layout. Clean Disliked: room fan/ac/ heat was impossibly loud making it difficult to sleep- hear the tv or even carry on a conversation. (Room 406) -1 for that issue. Desk staff were unhelpful and not typical of my previous NL experiences. Over a 4 night stay, we engaged at check in/out and 3 questions - they couldn’t care less and were of no help.」
