"Perfect mini-vacation for us. The house was very clean, just as advertised, and so well equipped. The photos don't do it justice. The owners have a policy of having the cleaning crew leave food left behind by previous tenents -- just in case later tenants want to use some of it. As it turned out, we didn't (except for some coffee options and some spices) but it was a nice gesture. The kitchen is LOADED with dishes, pots and pans, baking pans, and small appliances including toaster, crock pot, waffle iron, blender, microwave, and a really nice combo Keurig full pot/ single cup coffeemaker (to name a few). There is a huge dining table (seating for 10, I believe) as well as a smaller four-seat breakfast table. Out from the breakfast table is a nice covered patio with several comfortable chairs and a small gas grill. The downstairs bathroom is just outside the main (king-size bed) bedroom and the second bathroom is en suite upstairs in one of the two upstairs bedrooms. We took several walks each day around the semi-rural neighborhood... very pleasant and very quiet. The views of Mt. Adams (not visible from the house but is visible from the corner of the property) were gorgeous.A wonderful stay... highly recommended!"
"It was my second time staying at Lone Fir Resort. Both times we stayed less than a few hour to sleep before going climbing Mt St Helens. We should definitely be back to explore more of the property and amenities next time. One note that I would like to add, bed sheets are required some care maybe better drying or better detergent. "

"The cabin was very comfortable, and the surrounding property was beautiful! The temperature was in the high 80s-low 90s, but the AC kept the cabin very comfortable. Everything was very clean. Brent was very easy to reach and responded quickly to any messages. Be sure to take a walk to the campground down the road to see the HUGE 800-900 year old cyprus trees!"

"My husband and I had our wedding at this property. The house is beautiful, has great scenery, had plenty of space for everyone and everything! Also the host was very communicative and willing to work with us on things. It was a great experience!"
"Great house, enough room to spread out in. Love the 2 bathrooms. It's in a quiet area but the little stores around the corner do have whatever you need (within reason). Caretakers are right across the street in case you need anything. "
