“We enjoyed our three night stay at The Twelve hotel in Barna. We decided to try staying outside of Galway and used bus and taxi to get in and out of town.
The hotel is very nice. The room is spacious (we had a King suite). The morning breakfast was excellent.
While Barna was not particularly walkable, we were able to take the city bus both into Galway to explore the city and take an excursion to the Cliffs of Moher, as well as to the ferrys to Aran Islands.
Staff was professional and……
“The views are amazing and the location couldn’t be better. It’s only a 10-15 minute walk to the Latin Quarter and the street behind the apartment has great coffee shops and bakeries. Across the street is a beach great for morning walks. ”

The proprietor was such a nice gentlemen. Breakfast was amazing....the best that we had dyring our entire 10 day trip and we had a fantasic waitress (from California). Great stay. Only bad thing...we were only there for one night. I would have been great to stay longer. ”
“Very good hotel and many facilities! Room is ok and can enjoy a full irish breakfast in the hotel! Nice location very near to the beach, but need to take taxi or by car to go to city centre.
