“Wonderful value for money”

“It is a lovely little villa in Split ! Very easy to walk everywhere from there . The staff sent many emails for information and guidance . The breakfast was delicious and the lady working at the breakfast was so nice ! It’s a lot of stairs for luggage so if you aren’t capable of carrying bags you need to arrange for help but it was a lovely stay !”

“Perfectly situated on the outskirts of the old city and close to Nava boats where we picked up our catamaran charter and Thrifty where we dropped off our rental car.”

“Residence Stein is a gem in Split. First, it has an elevator which is unusual in an older building. The staff are helpful and warm, my room was spacious (room and bath) with good storage for luggage/stuff. I love having breakfast on-site as it is easier to start the day. It’s location is great for getting into the city center and all the attractions. I would definitely stay here again-”

“A nice hotel. Only complaint is that TV did not work”

“Lovely room in a great location 5 mins walk from centre with good parking 400m away. Would definitely stay here again.”

“The place is nice but it can't be reached by automobile. The taxi driver will drop off about 200 meters from the hotel and it's not easy to find because there is no signage. Will have to walk upstairs with luggage to get to most rooms. Outdoor furniture on one of the terraces is completely torn and not usable. Good location to get to the port and plenty of restaurants in the vicinity. Staff is helpful and cordial.”

“This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. There were no signs outside the property to help you identify it. After back to back messaging via the Expedia app, we managed to locate the apartment. The front desk is not even managed 24 hours, which is a minimum criteria to obtain a 4 star rating. There was no mini bar, no safe in the apartment. Very misleading to advertise as a 4 star property on Expedias website.”

“Love this place. Quiet yet close to the action of Split. We are allowed early check in which was very kind. Enjoyed a beer on the terrace and relaxed.”

“Amazing stay, great location, good amenities, and the host was very responsive and kind! The water heater was out and the host was able to fix it same day! Amazing service and GREAT spot to stay to discover split.”

“Lovely double room, minutes away from all the attractions. Its location is perfect and it’s down a very quiet street. Very easy to find, with photo instructions of the building and its gate. I didn’t realise the room came with a little fridge, which was a nice surprise, so I could keep all my drinks cold. Allowed to leave my bag upon check out which was a great help. The room could benefit from a full sized mirror. Would 100% recommend.”

“The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. Air conditioning worked great, new modern safe and refrigerator, and beautiful bathroom. The entrance to the building was just ok but it was in a great location. Staff was very responsive to messages throughout the stay. There were some issues with communication regarding checkin possibly due to Expedia? Fortunately the owner responded immediately once I arrived. Hard pillows affected my sleep but that was a personal preference. Highly……

“This was the nicest place we have stayed in. A bit off the centre. Frane checked us in without a hitch. Great communication. The room was well organized and very clean. Would highly recommend.”

“They have several buildings and the one I had was not near the main location with the pool so make sure you know that in advance. If you have difficulty walking and with stairs, the property is up a hill and might be a challenge. The room itself was excellent and the staff very friendly. Very nice place to stay.”

“The location is on a busy alley way and really loud. Bed was okay and only a sheet for a cover. We were there to just sleep as we had a very early flight the next day and we got very little sleep with how loud it was. I wouldn’t want to stay there any longer.”
