“We had an amazing stay at the Podstine in July. The hotel is beauty, tucked away on the coast just a 20 minute walk from Hvar Town. The real gem of the hotel is the private beach, sunbeds and swimming area. The hotel staff are very attentive, helpful, and lovely to chat to at breakfast, at the beach bar and at check-in. Maya was lovely to speak with and while I waited for drinks at the bar! The dive centre next door was a big bonus too, as my partner was able to dive without having to get a taxi……

“We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Fortuna. It’s a charming, family-run hotel set in the serene village of Milna, just a short drive from the busy town of Hvar. The atmosphere was calm, the setting was stunning, and the hospitality truly stood out. Our room was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, with a balcony overlooking the peaceful bay. The views were beautiful, especially in the early morning and at sunset. It’s the perfect place to unwind after exploring the island. The staff……

“This place is an absolute gem. Walking distance from both the ferry port to Split (about 20 mins along a coastal path), and from the town and lots of lovely places to eat and museums. Veronique was a delight, and bustled around tirelessly to make sure we had all we needed. The room on the second floor with a balcony and a large bathroom was a lovely place to relax and unwind after a hard day’s sightseeing. Just a couple of things to know about - this is more of a posh bed and breakfast……
