“My husband and I had a wonderfully relaxing stay at the Airstream at Lake Glen Haven. We thoroughly enjoyed cooking over the firepit, hiking atound the lake and soaking in the beautiful views. The Airstream was very well stocked and we had everything we needed. The shower was also surprisingly nice! We were able to meet the owners Ashleigh and Mike and they even brought us some fresh eggs from their chicken coop😊 Their goldendoodle, Mabel was also the perfect host and came to check on us……

“Ashleigh and Michael have thought about every detail when it comes to staying here. They are great communicators of what you need to bring and what is supplied. It makes planning so much easier. I don’t know how many times we’ve stayed somewhere not knowing what was needed. They have everything listed down to the condiments provided in the refrigerator. Everything is labeled and well organized. The tug boat was very clean. The location is beautiful and so quiet. We look forward to staying here……

“No detail is missed with this property; nice shower and soaking tub; office set-up; coffee options; filtered water; specialty towels; doggy treats and even a built is doggy gate on deck. Such thoughtful touches everywhere. Lovely outdoor space with fire pit; flowers beds were just blooming for a perfect weekend. We will be back to enjoy more of the total country quite experience.”

“This treehouse is darling. Very clean, hosts were super responsive with any questions. The path in is well-marked, a little steep in spots, but not daunting, so wear appropriate shoes. Would definitely recommend!!!”

“We decided to look for a place after dropping off our son at NC State. What a wonderful couple of days!! Our teenage boys (aged 14 and 17) loved taking out the row boat and paddle board to fish. They caught something every time they put in their poles. Water was warm and cabin was cozy. Boys will definitely want to return!!”

“We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The house is beautiful and well maintained. The property was stunning and the horses were friendly. It’s a great place to stay with family (kids included). The chef’s kitchen is stocked with every kitchen cooking utensil you may need. The rooms are just as large as they look in the pictures, so there is plenty of space to spread out and unwind. The weather was a little chilly so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoors nearly as much as we would have liked, but……

“This cute silo house was perfect! The location is quite serene and the private pool is beautifully done! I wish I had gone at a warmer time to have been able to swim, but it was just as easy to simply enjoy the peaceful sound of the waterfall while relaxing on the porch hammocks that overlook the pool. Everything was clean and exactly like the pictures show. I loved the proximity of the barn yard neighbors and would enjoy their company while I ate my breakfast on the side porch. Ashleigh and……

“Owner messaged and told me check in was at 5:00. I informed her that my confirmation showed 4:00. I checked in early because I came from MD and owner charged me $50 to check in 1 1/2 hrs early at 2:30. Upon entering the home and returning to get 2nd bag I was met by a Dominion Electric employee who first asked if I was the owner and I explained to him I was the renter for 4 days. He told me he was there to shut off the electric for non payment. He also advised that this was the second extension……

“I stayed at the Boxley while bicycle touring from Charlottesville to Richmond. The staff was amazing and accommodated my unusual arrival time, was flexible about storing my bike safely, helped me figure out dinner in the area, and arranging breakfast. I loved it!”

“This hotel is currently undergoing major renovations so there is a small amount of noise from 9am onwards each day. The have fully renovated the 4th floor and are just about to finish the 3rd.Book a room on the 4th floor. Avoid the ground and the 2nd floor as all of the rooms are so dark brown and in urgent need of updating hence the renovations. Even the the hotel is next to the I64 traffic noise was much quieter than expected. Breakfast is help your but basic - but not complaining as it is……

“Perfect place for girls trip. Hit up local wineries and Uber back safely to this house. Beds were firm, but I found them comfy!! We honestly didn’t really utilize the kitchen, so can’t speak to how well stocked the kitchen was. The house was clean and plenty of space for all 9 of us!! Was very easy to access. Close to grocery and ABC store and a few restaurants. Would definitely stay here again for a girl’s trip!!”
