A beautiful and unique home

The home was so beautiful and unique! The grounds were spectacular and the fountain was mesmerizing. We enjoyed the beautiful landscaping from every window. It was breathtaking! The table tennis was a welcome surprise!

This could be a 10 out of 10, look at the pictures. But I’m only going to give it a 7 out of 10. -2 because the floors were very dirty. If you walked barefoot from one side of the house to the other the bottom of your feet were black with dirt. Several areas had big cobwebs up on the ceiling. -1 more for several minor maintenance items seamed neglected.

While walking through the gardens, my daughter turned to me and said, “Dad, this is the most beautiful place you’ve ever taken me.” We made a pact to visit each other here at the African Queen around this same time every year. I’ll sum my stay up in 4 words: beauty, rest, healing & love.
