AVOID FOR MORE THAT $100/NIGHT. NO MANAGER ONSTAFF, NO ACCEPTANCE OF RESPONSIBILITY.
Charged almost 4x the normal rate of $150 because of "limited availability". No manager on site during the weekends which is their busiest time. Ripped bed skirts, room smelled like a dirty gym locker, air conditioning not on prior to arrival, cracked tiles throughout public areas of facility, parking lot unsafe with non-guest hanging out and performing "business transactions", no offer to change or upgrade room after check-in but expressed displeasure. False advertisement in respect to reviews of the cleanliness of the facility. Horribly uncomfortable mattress. Too many faults to list. If room rate was around $100, would accept the many shortcomings because of expections within that price level. But for almost $600 for a night, both the price and conditions were completely unacceptable.
Needed dinner, so first ate and then sought to check-out about two hours after check-in. Was told that if I expressed my displeasure with the room before checking in, a refund could have been offered. Or if I booked directly with the hotel instead of Expedia. I trusted that Expedia carried more customer service leverage, but was mistaken. The room wasn't shown to me before checking in, so the proposition posed impossible circumstances.
