“What a charming, sweet place! My husband and I stayed here as a half way point between a concert venue and visiting family in Maine. We were going to arrive late, so we called to inform the front desk. Tracy was so kind and accommodating, offering a late night check in alternative in case she wasn’t there when we arrived. It turned out that she still was, and she kindly even upgraded our room when we arrived. 10/10 service! We stayed in a beautiful king suite. This property is clearly very old……

“I would’ve liked to have had a shower cap because I forgot mine. The main reason I probably will not come back to this property is because the walls are thin and I could hear the TV in both rooms next to me and it made me crazy.”

“This property was on my wish list as I have walked by it many times and imagined staying there with that view. The staff was very helpful and parking was easy. Our rooms were in the original building with the water view and outside deck. Although very clean, they definitely need updating- squeaky slider doors, noisy air conditioner, and the size of the bathroom was smaller than small. I guess I expected more for that price point.”

“The room was clean and well maintained. That’s all we need when traveling is a clean comfortable room. Bed was comfortable. Not a fan of carpeting in hotels/motels. But I believe that there were other rooms w/o carpeting if need be. Shower is a tiny stand up shower. If you are a big person you may want to request a room with a standard size tub with shower. Check in was easy. Staff member/owner was very helpful, friendly, and professional. Plenty of restaurants, coffee shops and even an……

“The staff was excellent and the room immaculate. Our room had no balcony, which was disappointing. It would have been nice to have a small table and chairs in the room.”

“My room was FILTHY. Toothpaste on the mirror from previous guest. Nose hair or beared hair all over the sink in the bathroom. Sticky stuff on the TV area and just awful; I had to go to the store to buy cleaning products to clean the room before staying there. The only thing good was the woman in the breakfast area doing the food. The food was not good but she was lovely and accommodating. For this type of chain clean it up. WON'T stay again.”
