"nice new construction—ours was more of an intimate studio-type layout; large bed overlooked the living room with an electric fireplace/heater and TV—the kitchen was moderately stocked with enough cookware to meal prep (oil, honey, and spices came in handy); the Keurig coffee/tea was convenient; the owner was responsive on the vrbo app and text when we had a little power outage—it was close to town and a short direct drive into the park, and the grounds were very clean. "My sister and I planned this as part of our "week of adventures" get away and had a lovely stay. The location and check-in would have been perfect had we arrived during daylight hours, however due to airline cancellations and delays we arrived past dark. We loved staying here and would highly recommend, the river was perfect! Just know you are far into the countryside and not close to any markets so plan to be onsite during your stay. Sadly the trails listed are almost unusable as the roads were...
