「I’m going to start off with saying The manor is beautiful. I found this gem kinda last minute and I’m glad I did. It is very clean, quiet and I felt mostly like I had it to myself. There were other guests who were staying but unless if I seen their vehicle or faintly heard them when I went to the Bathroom, I’d have never known. So as many others state, there is no breakfast, the owner you have to call upon arrival, they explain why and they are so nice. But I didn’t stay there for the...

「Everyone went well just surprised there was no microwave in the dining area.」

「Very good, customer service is very enthusiastic, breakfast is also very rich, the room is perfect」

「Stayed here several times and it is always fantastic! Thank you!」

「The staff was very friendly at check-in and check-out. However, there were several times during my 2-night stay where staff were standing directly next to the entrance door smoking cigarettes - you couldn't enter or exit the building without being covered in second-hand smoke - digusting! I was in town for family weekend at one of the local colleges so I realize demand was high, but the $170/night room charge was significantly more than the property should be charging given the condition -...

「We enjoy the quiet & peacefulness of the property. Very close in proximity to what we were interested in doing on our trip. Thank you.」

「Really the perfect cabin for a quiet getaway. It is absolutely as advertised, super clean, comfortable layout, and communication with the owners couldn’t have been easier. The kids spent plenty of time in the hot tub! Thanks Sarah & Daniel!」

「I give this cabin a five-star rating! It was incredibly cozy, spotless, and made me feel right at home. Communication with the owner was excellent—they were friendly, responsive, and very accommodating throughout my stay. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. I would definitely stay here again!」

「Loved our time here! It was a clean and beautiful house! The communication with the owner was great. The mountain roads to the house were a little scary. The freezer had 3-4 old fashioned ice trays which were inconvenient if you needed more ice. The refrigerator temperature was so cold that our milk and our pitcher of water was turning into ice. There was some food stuck on the coffee table out at the hot tub area. The hot faucet in one of the bedroom bathrooms needs to be tightened. Everything...

「Very cute and cozy cottage with easy access to the town and the university. Excellent host. Looking forward to booking it again during our son’s study years at Longwood University.」

「This property offers the perfect getaway. The cabin is so lovely, clean, well-stocked and comfortable. We loved sitting on the beautiful deck, listening to birds and the breeze through the trees; walking the peaceful private path to the High Bridge Trail, and exploring Farmville’s charming nearby downtown. The recliners totally spoiled us for any future rental that does not offer so much comfy seating! The hosts thought of everything and were super responsive. We look forward to booking a longer...

「Stayed here for 1 week the place was gorgeous and it was very modern and well divided. The house is a 10/10 overall just a couple of things that could be better. The house never got under 74ish degrees inside and there isn’t much airflow in the house making it very hard to sleep if you like your room cold at night. We had a bear that kept taking our trash and dragging it all over the yard and into the woods. And besides some small but noticeable details like all the glass in the house need a...
