"The Stay was nice. The only trouble was after checking in we discovered our pooch wasn't allowed in the main lodge where our room was booked. Guest registration was able to switch the booking around to another building to accommodate my pooch. It was a very positive experience. The front desk person was understanding of the mix up. If you have a pooch and book through Expedia, call the resort ahead of time to ensure the reservation is for a pet friendly room. I will book here again. The Continental breakfast was good too."

"If you need space for alot of guests, this property is ideal. Not only inside, but beautiful grounds, garage, well equipped fire pits, boathouse with many toys, large dock for boats/pontoon.Clear water for swimming, and easy walk from house to beautiful Big Portage lake.My favorite place was the catwalk to a private space over looking the lake. So peaceful.The home is a work of art. Many of the owners personal treasures you'll most likely will never see again. There's a boardroom, ice cream room, bar room, huge beautiful living room and Professional Kitchen!,besides 7 bedrooms. A focal point is The Gazebo for Wine Time! Just beautiful. Your property managers Lynne & Gary are professionals and it shows as they walk you through the property.We will return for Sled Races and already booked for 2026 Fall. Thank you "

"Lovely house set in a large grassy yard (perfect for badminton, ghosts in the graveyard or just running around) and fronting onto a lovely quiet lake great for swimming and kayaking (house has a couple kayaks to borrow). The house shares a sandy beach and dock with an adjacent rental, perfect for kids and adults. We had two families staying including 3 adult kids, one teenager, and the set up worked out very well. We'd love to come back next year. "

"Summerhaven was a very cozy Up North experience, and the cabin is in a great location on Lake Lost and was very spacious and comfortable. Jeff was great host he was very easy to talk to and was available throughout the entire trip. The dock was easy to tie up our rental pontoon and we enjoyed our time at Summerhaven and Lost Lake!!!"
