We have stayed at this hotel a number of times while in the Spruce Pine area. They are in the process of renovating the rooms, so some are updated, some are not, but are functional. The staff is really nice and the hotel has a very cozy environment.

We stayed in this room mid renovation. The beds were very comfortable, the best we had on our 8-night trip. The floors were updated and the entire room was clean. Parking was easy and the common areas outside were spacious and inviting. They recognize that some people have pet allergies and gave us a mostly pet free room. Much appreciated. We had a good pizza at the Mad Hatter Pizza restaurant.
