"This was a historic stay. We loved the tiny details and felt like we had stepped back in time to a Jane Austen novel. Highly recommend for people who love old mansions. I taught my daughters about encyclopaedias - the google of yore - and we also loved watching the spirit of Tasmania berth."

"Nice location, very clean, great hot shower, adequately equipped kitchen and good heating. Lounge furniture a little sparse and uncomfortable. The only issue was the bed. While clean and in good condition, but the mattress far too soft for us. Didn’t sleep at all well, woke with back ache."

"This is not going to be a good report Upon arriving It was the filthiest accommodation that we have ever stayed in A sign says take your shoes off but wearing white socks were soiled very quickly The filth in the bathroom in the shower tracks looks like they haven’t been cleaned for years Kitchen ..."
