「Charming, cottage-style rooms with plenty of character, though not the most convenient in layout. The air conditioning was inefficient at times, which made the stay a bit uncomfortable. On the bright side, the restaurant was excellent, with very courteous staff who made dining a pleasure. We only stayed one night, but it’s the kind of place where a longer stay would have been enjoyable. 」

「The room was impossibly dark giving an overall sense of dinginess that under scrutiny was fully deserved. The carpets and furnishings were well worn and there was an overall sense of tired malaise about the whole environment. The much vaunted evening buffet was of a comparable condition having been prepared well in advance of anticipated dining times. Equally the breakfast lacked the freshness of immediate preparation. The staff were enthusiastic and helpful but I suspect needing more guidance...
