“Clean inside & outside older well-maintained motor inn type accommodation, located at the Kenawha River, with parking right at our door. Quiet & relaxing. We sat on a bench to eat dinner & enjoy the serenity of the river & setting sun. ”

“The house was clean, welcoming and had everything we needed for our stay! The owners were friendly and responsive and the checkin process was simple. Would definitely stay here again!”

“The house was very clean and nicely decorated. I was particularly pleased with the beds. They were very comfortable. There was everything we needed although bath mats for the showers would be nice. I was a little surprised that there wasn’t any soap for the showers, something we have found in other VRBO rentals. The host Roger, was very helpful and responded to my questions very quickly. Thanks for that Roger.”

“This is great house, just a short drive away from downtown. Very well kept for its age and equipped with everything you need for a stay in Charleston. Just note: the second bathroom/shower is located on the main floor and very small. We didn’t have too much trouble parking our vehicles despite their size, but it could get tight with more than 2.”
