Norman Rockwell...eat your heart out. You got nuthin' on St. Ansgar and Gwen. This charming little village in Northern Iowa harkens back to a time and place captured in his paintings. The charm. The people. And then there's Four Seasons...Gwen's precious turn-of-the-century Victorian gem . Decorated in her artistic touch, Joanne and I marveled at every detail. Even a basket filled with breakfast goodies on our doorstep the first morning put there by the "Breakfast Fairy." Serenity, peace, and love. Gwen's charming little house in this equally charming little village...we will most assuredly go back. Who knows...maybe to stay!
