The condo is clean and well equipped. We loved the balcony where we could view the ocean. We didn't use the pools, but they looked good. Huge beach.

This was a great vacation choice for us. Wonderful location. Clean condo with a nice view. Was concerned initially with the carpet due to my dust allergies, but I had no issues whatsoever. We had everything we needed at the condo. I strongly recommend this place.

Great condo with easy acess to the beach. Everything was perfect. Only reason for 4 stars is you need MUCH better pillows. It was like trying to sleep on cotton balls. Outdoor balcony furniture was scary to sit on, felt like it would break.

Very nice resort. it was walking distance to the beach and had a pool and jacuzzi. We could also see the ocean from the deck which was cool. There was an Alexa and we really took advantage of it and had it play music all day. Luckily i read another review that said the cleaning and laundry supplies were sparse so we had brought our own tide pods, toilet paper, and cleaner and it worked out great. Host was good as they gave us an opportunity to have a free activity a day and communicated well with gate codes and the parking situation.

We all loved our stay on Butler Beach. The view was great, the condo was nice. I will say this… you will need to bring condiments like salt, pepper, ketchup, cooking oil, hand soap. etc. there’s all the pots and pans you would really need to cook with which was great. But I guess I’ve been spoiled by places that had foil, salt, laundry det, and just basic things like that. I just say this to prepare the next bookers. I took no stars off bc it was a great stay!!!

Great family friendly condo with wonderful location

The resort was all we could ask for- large living space, enough beds for a family of 5. Great pools, short short walk to the beach, great restaurants around, interesting historical sites in old st Augustine. You feel very safe on the property and it felt very quiet and relaxing. The only thing I could say bad about this condo was that the toilet in the master bathroom was very loud when you flushed it!

I stayed here as a child same spot until I was 20 and grew up with the property managers kids and now are the managers. It was a blessing and the most amazing memories to share what my parents did for me. Only issue was no back patio screen out of living room.. it was there but wrong size.. and handle was not tight to sliding glass door so a bolt broke first open and just hung then came off. I don’t care it was beautiful and mesmerizing the whole 2 weeks I don’t care how it looked because we from New York and hibiscus and butler beach community are wayyyy different nothing like here. Honestly anything better than this state. A pleasure for sure see ya next year everyone!

Great family getaway

We had a great week here. Our priorities were beach and pool proximity and this condo was perfect. Had a lovely view of the ocean and sunrise right from deck, but also easy walk to beach was just a couple of minutes, past 2 of the pools on property. Easy for hauling beach gear for us and our two kids. Condo was comfortable, clean, and well- equipped. Our only request would be a couple more beach chairs and a better beach umbrella. Otherwise, a wonderful stay!

Ocean views, walk to the beach!

The property was lovely. All three pools and shared areas were clean and well-maintained. It was a short boardwalk to the wide beach. The condo itself has outdated furniture, but updated kitchen and bathrooms (really, the most important rooms). We loved how the bedroom and patio overlooked the ocean, and we could hear the waves when we opened the window. The kitchen had all we needed for cooking, but not well-kept; the teflon was peeling off every single skillet/pan. The beach umbrella and two beach lounge chairs found in the closet were very useful and much appreciated.

VACATION HELL AT THE HIBISCUS IN St. Augustine

This was the worse experience we have ever had travelling in 60+ years. We were warned and signed off a waiver that there would possibly be minor construction and should of been completed by 9/15 for building C. What we encountered was construction dust over all balcony furniture when we first arrived on Saturday at 4pm, beautiful view of all scaffolding from our balcony made for great sunrises, wake up call at 7:20am by construction workers banging, sawing, 1 construction worker getting nasty with me when I said there was a 8am quiet rule and to hold off until then, nails throughout our parking lot and steps to our room, morning wake up by a hammer drill from a construction worker on his ladder working on our balcony, that was a treat, sheet metal scraps on steps from workers working on the gutters, and finally being hung up on by the secretary working for Hibiscus/CodoRental.com. I have never written a review for any of the places we have previously stayed as all rentals have been fine when booking with Hotels.com but this was over the top and sure I will not be compensated in any way so this is the only recourse and just wanted to warn others NOT to ever book with this group as they are terrible and just don't care. This unit should never had been rented during this construction time. I have pictures to prove my point if requested. I was told I signed off on the waiver months prior and it was my issue per the secretary at Hibiscus. Again, I will never book with CondoRental.com and Hibiscus again and will warn others to not make the same mistake.

Quality at an affordable price

We love the beach here! It is SO wide and the walk to the beach is relaxing and beautiful. The beach was not crowded at all. The condo itself was extremely clean and comfortable. Our visit was during the "off season" so we couldn't clean the sand off our feet after watching the sunrise or a late walk at night as the wells are turned off except during the day. We solved this by leaving a filled water pitcher by our door. This is a top floor unit, so it was very quiet. We enjoyed the view from the balcony and there is a good view of the ocean from the kitchen. We like that the 2nd bedroom has its own attached bathroom.

Relaxing Time

We went during the first week in October, and the beach wasn’t crowded. The weather was really nice. Having three pools to choose from was a bonus. We felt safe on the property.

Great location close to beach and dining

PROS: Great location with 3 very nice pools, great hot tub and nice boardwalk to the ocean. Unit C202 has been updated with granite counter tops throughout. Kitchen is good size, very bright and has plenty of counter space. The fridge is showing some age, but still works fine. The bedrooms have good drawer storage and closet space. Ocean view from balcony in living room. CONS: Ceiling fan in master makes a knocking noise when on. Housekeeping needs to vacuum under the sofa cushions, clean the blades on all three ceiling fans and wipe down walls periodically (dust from a/c).

Hibiscus C202 exceeded expectations.

For the cost this condo could not be beat. The location was really nice with a partial beach views and close vacinity to the beach access and pools were great. The location worked out well and the updates to kitchen and baths that were nice. Would return. Thanks

Perfect spot

The inside of this condo was exactly as promised, clean and perfect for our getaway. Three pools and a short walk to the beach was perfect. The units are all right off the beach although, about 6-7 miles from downtown St. Augustine (although the ride is easy.) The outside of the building needs some work, but that didn't impact the unit itself. We look forward to booking this unit/property again.
