“We were expecting a well maintained, boutique hotel, sadly it was not. Although refurbished in Nov 2014, the state of our room (1) lacked maintenance. Although each was relatively minor, when 10 issues are present, then the result is a disappointment. I relayed these to the receptionist on departure, and she seemed reluctant to seriously acknowledge the problem. This summed up the general feeling of laissez-faire.”

“The check-in was smooth and easy. Single Room was clean and well laid out. Will definitely stay here again.”

“The shared shower was cramped, dark, and you easily bang your head. Not only that you get a bang on the door by management stating checkouts 10am even though I was there 2 nights. Everytime you left the room you're interrogated by management wanting to know your every move. If you want a peaceful stay this isn't it. Needless to say I didn't stay the 2nd night found somewhere else.”

“We had a comfortable and friendly stay at St Peter’s B&B. We were given a ground floor converted stable room which was well furnished, comfortable and clean. The ensuite shower was amazing. Both complimentary continental buffet breakfast and hot cooked breakfast of your choice was available. The location was in the centre of Sandwich, less than 5 minutes walk to the shops. The sea is a longer walk but there is no traditional seaside as such. However, Deal which is only 15 minutes drive is……

“I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The location was excellent, with easy access to local attractions and restaurants. The breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety of options. “We recently attended a nearby wedding and stayed at The Five Bells, an amazing family-run pub and B&B. The family room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped, with complimentary toiletries that were especially appreciated as we’d forgotten ours at home. Mary and her daughters were incredibly warm and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. We would highly recommend this lovely place.”

“Easy to find, clear instructions regarding keys, etc.. Not a huge amount of things nearby, apart from the nice beach. Perhaps a bit expensive for what it is, but in the summer the easier access to the beach must be a plus.”

“The family room was lovely and well equipped for 2 adults and 2 children. A couple of niggles in that the blind was broken in the bathroom and the rubbish bins were a bit on the small side. Staff were really lovely and nothing was any trouble. Breakfast was delicious and we had 1 meal there which was great. Lovely setting next to the river. Would highly recommend”
