"This place was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful! We are so used to listening to cars and fire engines, etc at our house and you just hear birds and frogs here. The house had updated bathrooms, master suite and kitchen on the main level but also still maintained a cozy farmhouse feel. My husband caught some fish in the pond on the property. We would highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway. We are hoping to get back there sometime. Diane and Wes - St. Louis"

"Fantastic!Great location, great spot, great communication. I've stayed in many rentals and can say this one is fantastic. It's always nice when hosts think of the little things - hooks in rooms, ziploc bags for leftovers, firewood for the fire pit. Really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the these little touches to make our stay easy. Would book again!"

The area where they serviced breakfast was very clean and had a lot of sitting space. We really enjoyed our overnight stay here."

"Huckle Chuckle was the perfect property for our large family to celebrate my mom’s 80th birthday for the weekend. The hosts drove up to turn on the heat when the handyman couldn't figure it out. The house had plenty of common areas to spend time together but also lots of nooks when everyone needed a minute alone. The Laurel Path hike was beautiful and an easy 2 miles. The beach area had volleyball and basketball. Eagles Mere was perfect for ice cream, souvenirs and coffee."

"Clean, well maintained, and has everything you need. Beautiful setting with a pond out the front door and a trout stream out the back door. Plenty of decks for your enjoyment as well as a fire pit. Large main bedroom upstairs with a private deck. Only a bout 10 min. drive in to town (grocery store, restaurants, sporting goods store, etc.) but you will definitely get country feel."
