“An unusual interior layout but excellent in terms of facilities, parking and comfort. Its location is good for access to the Lake District but more importantly the excellent beach at St, Bees which is dog heaven!! The location being next to the railway station(very quiet and not a nuisance) offers the opportunity of leaving the car behind and travelling by rail to nearby locations. Excellent hosts living on site. Highly recommended.”

“Was even cuter than the pictures showed! Very warm and clean and everything was clearly well thought out and provided for. I didn’t see anywhere on the listing that we would check in at the property upon arrival so I had to call VRBO to clarify before arriving since I had not received an email with check-in info like they said I was supposed to. But check in once there was exceptionally easy and the area is gorgeous. Coast is right there and a couple pubs are a 2 minute walk. Thank you for a……

“After a week camping in awful weather, I wanted to get a place whilst I met up with some old friends, I booked this place on line, and I'm so glad I did! It was very comfortable, clean and very well equipped, the owners are very friendly, and have done a great job in renovating the building into a 5 star accommodation, would highly recommend it”
