「We had a nice large room and bathroom. Spotlessly clean with a sofa. A welcoming array of tea/coffee with biscuits. Our only slight disapointment was that breakfast was a little greasy .
Excellent location with great friendly staff.」

「This was a great location for me to visit Galashiels. Its a lovely old manse building with nice clean big rooms and comfy beds. The owners of the guest house were on site, very friendly and welcoming. I had a sound night's sleep and woke to a lovely cooked breakfast with all the trimmings. I couldn't fault my stay.
There is plenty parking but lots of free street parking nearby anyway so no issues there. I wouldn't hesitate to book again.」

「Check in was not good. I traveled from a different country and needed wifi to get a code. I had to drive 5 miles to get to a friend to call the owners. The owners were in and out of service so they could only text.
When i finally got the proper code. It was 5 flights of steep stairs. It should have been told how many flights of stairs to go with a large suitcase.」

「The public areas were a bit dark and gloomy. The bedroom was hot and stuffy even with the windows open. Some furniture was quite old fashioned but the bed was comfortable enough. The food was OK but lacked better wine choices. The breakfast was a bit too greasy. Staff were friendly and helpful.」
