This is the first time I give only 2 stars for a stay! The room decoration was great, but service was terrible! The hotel has event on the first floor, and it was so loud until 11:30. We called the contact person couple times, but never answered! The contact person only replied me once and with bad attitude! I tried to talk with the event management, but they were so rude and said they don’t control it, asked us to contact hotel management! Then we called Stone Mill Inn, the sister hotel, and they were already off that late, and only security was on duty. And the security was so rude too! Till the next day, the hotel contact person still not call us back! I am not going again or recommend to other ppl! Very bad experience! The worst hotel experience I have ever had!

When we arrived, the foyer area was in disarray. There was garbage and empty bottles everywhere. A box of crackers. We tried the coffee machine and it did not work. When we went into our room, there was pubic hair on the toilet seat. We were quite surprised and disappointed especially five. The cost of the room.

Beautiful historic property, both hotel and grounds. One negative comment though. As our room located beside the living room and dining room, we heard conversations till 12:30am and could not get to sleep. Might be a good idea to inform guests to keep voices to a minimum in deference to people that are in bed earlier.

Rodman hall was a great experience with wonderful accommodations. The entire space was open to enjoy and offered rooms and spaces that transported me back in time. Absolutely recommend for anyone who enjoys a historic feel with all the modern life luxuries.

The boutique hotel is an experience. It is beautiful and enormous. It has been beautifully restored, with minor things needing a little touch up here and there. The check in process was easy. The grounds are amazing. It is very close to downtown which I should've know, but didn't realize. The proximity to the run down area of the city was slightly unnerving, but we were very safe and had no troubles.

No onsite staff, more like an air b and b. There was an odd thumping sound on our floor, couldn't figure it out so it was a bit annoying but i am a light sleeper. All said though fun to stay i n a 19th century mansion!
