Premium Waterfront - Jervis Bay Area

Southcoast House is the perfect place to get away from the hustle & bustle of life. Quiet, peaceful, serene - it really suits those in need of a true retreat from city life.

Located in Home Bay, St Georges Basin, Southcoast House faces due west featuring 180 degree views of the lake from from the deck and expansive views from the dining, kitchen & lounge rooms. Relax and unwind as you watch the sun set over the water, or dive in and enjoy the huge variety of water sports on offer.

Just a short drive from the house are the sparkling beaches of Jervis Bay including the hamlet of Huskisson where Whale & Dolphin watching tours run throughout the year,

To experience some of the most amazing beaches in the world, visit the Bodderee National Park & Botanic Gardens and be sure to stop-off at Murrays Beach.

For more activity there is relaxed 1 km stroll along the water front to the small kids park in Home Bay. We also provide two Kayaks and the lake is perfect for skiing, wind surfing, fishing, snorkelling or just soaking with drink in hand. A short drive gives you access to Horse Riding, the Bay & Basin Aquatic Centre with Toddlers Pool & 40m slide. There is the famous Husky Pub for a meal & the weatherboard Movie Theatre. Further south along the Prices Hwy is the Historic Township of Milton which is filled with Cafes, and shops for those who like to browse for mementoes.

Just up the road is The Woods form for Weddings & Receptions.

Close by is the local IGA and in Vincentia you’ll find Woolies, Aldi & Coles.

For skiers and fishermen, Basin View boat ramp is close by and perfect for launching and retrieving boats. Drop anchor out the front of the hopiuse for wonderful days on the water.

The house comfortably accommodates 6 (with a trundle for kids on request) with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The open plan living, dining rooms & kitchen is contemporary with comfortable seating and wonderfull views. There are 2 queen bedrooms and a third bedroom with Double bedt. The house is great for kids as parents can keep on eye on them from the deck.

Linen & bath towels are supplied. All you really need is a change of clothes and some beach towels to make your stay truely memorable.

Fantastic House

This property is amazing. Just by the water with kayaks available and bbq. The balcony facing the lake is awesome for sunset. The house decoration is beautifull with details that make the difference. We had such an amazing time. Communication with the host was easy and quick. We loved the place and will definitely come back.

Impeccable and well thought through

It is evident that the owners of this property are well travelled and have a keen eye for customer experience. All big things (cleanliness, location, views, practicality, etc etc) plus the small things (oil, spices, bbq stuff, alu foil, glad wrap, wifi, etc etc) and everything in between were in abundant supply. No wonder the 10/10 is consistent. Shall return.

South coast heaven

Caught up with a few mates in the south coast and this place was amazing. Love the backyard that runs to the Basin, the sound of water with the stars was a view to behold. Loved that there was a portable outside heater, really came in handy. Living room was perfect, comfortable sofas and a big TV to watch the footy on. Kris and Cory were amazing with communication, touching base early to make sure everything runs smoothly. Thank you for having us!

Heaven on earth

My favourite holiday destination this house is perfect for my family everything we need is in that house it’s home away from home. Kris and Cory are the most beautiful people they are so generous with their home we can’t wait to go back this is the third time we stay there we love it thank you for sharing your home.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Perfect location and wonderful hosts

We so enjoyed staying in this beautiful house. Cory and Kris communicated well by text. There were absolutely no issues with checking in or answering questions. The house is gorgeous and we really enjoyed taking the kayak out on the lake. The main Jervis Bay beaches are only a short drive away. The town centre is small, but has everything you need. The sourdough bakery is amazing! Great coffee as well. It is a bit of a splurge for a small family of 3, which we were happy to do for some relax time. But we only used the master bedroom and one kids bed. There is a second bedroom (queen bed) and a double bed for kids at the bottom of the bunk. So you could really make this a lot more affordable. We are definitely saving this beautiful home. Thank you again, Cory and Kris!

Ideal holiday house.

Ideal location, everything you could need or want in a place to stay. The view and location are amazing, the hosts were easy and fantastic to deal with. Cory and Kris have done a great job renovating the house and have added lots of extra touches to make for a relaxing stay. House is fantastic for those staying as a family.

Perfect getaway

The property was amazing. Cory and Kris were extremely accommodating to our group. The location is quiet but close to amenities. The waterfront view was breathtaking and being able to kayak in the water with the kayaks provided was relaxing. I really couldn’t have had a better house to stay at in the Jervis Bay region.

Amazing!

Wow, exceeded expectations and somehow the photos don't do it justice.. although photos are ok. Cory was very helpful and place has all the ammeanities you need, space, comfort and ideal location. Were very sad to leave will be back! My 8 year old rated it 4.5/5 stars, simply because it had no WiFi, but we gave it 5/5!

Great Holiday

We stayed for a week and didn’t want to leave! It was a well laid out house and comfortable and relaxing. The highlight was waterskiing out the front of the house and being able to sit on the shady deck and watch. The house was fully equipped and we only needed to bring our food. We are definitely coming back! Thanks Cory & Kris!

Weekend Retreat

One of the best equipped houses we have rented. Nothing fancy but quiet and well positioned property for a weekend catch up with friends, 4 mature ladies. Rained most of the weekend so we just relaxed and enjoyed the Bay views and did a few local walks.

Perfect winter getaway

We love this property! We’ve been two years in a row now. The only thing that still seems to be a problem is the hot water, as it’s solar powered. It just doesn’t seem to warm up sufficiently. Mornings are particularly bad. But otherwise this place is just the best!

Such a beautiful property to stay at. Would highly recommend!

Cory & Kris have really thought about everything for the property - very well equipped kitchen, toys for kids, bedrooms are comfortable plus outdoor games and ping pong table. Fantastic house with amazing view!

Everybody loved the house and enjoyed our holiday. The location was great and the view was amazing. The house was well equipped, and the host, Cory was so attentive and generous. Lovely property in the most beautiful location

A perfect long-weekend at this lovely property that had everything we needed and more. The house was clean, fully-equipped, with the most breathtaking view of the Basin.
