“This is a beautiful house with a lovely, comfortable atmosphere. It’s warm, well organised ,well equipped, and easy for visitors to manage - no tricky appliances or white carpets. Everything is very clean and well-maintained. Although the front of the house faces a road the kitchen/living area is quiet, with a peaceful outlook. “Un-user friendly steps to climb to room. No face welcome. No welcome instructions or how to operate hob and microwave. One tablespoon, one dessert spoon. No pots or pans so why a fancy hob. Shower exit full of past human hair. Broken toilet seat. Dangerous low A-shaped ceiling for banging heads. No recycling instructions. No view. Shower excellent but no instructions. However, we adapted as best we could but unlikely to recommend.”

“Le Cairn Cottage is in a quiet rural location in a very convenient position for travelling around the island. This is a spacious property with the benefit of undercover parking. We were very comfortable in the rooms and the kitchen was adequately equipped. There was a good supply of bedding and towels. The well-kept garden added to the appeal of this property. The owners were friendly and helpful throughout our stay and kindly gave us a lovely card for our wedding anniversary. We would be happy……

“Property is wonderful and very well located. Light and airy but due to restrictions no hob , only microwave. In summer not a problem as there is a wonderful bbq area with plenty of space. Would highly recommend.”

“Excellent location, just around the corner from the Liberty Bus station, so taking tours and getting around was easy. All the staff were polite and efficient, even if they didn't always understand what was being said the first time. The only downside was that the room we had was under the eves of the building, so that one side of the bed was difficult to get into/Out of! Apart from that, thoroughly recommended.”
