"This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. I don’t say that lightly, having previously stayed at many 5 star resorts, and famous properties like the Ritz in London and Madrid, the Vier Jahrezeiten in Hamburg and Munich, the Sandy Lane here in Barbados, etc. the hotel is not for everyone. It’s traditional understated luxury, somewhat geared to British tourists. There is a dress code at the restaurant (no shorts for dinner, no hats, no t-shirts). Also if you’re looking for glitzy modern luxury a-la Ritz Carlton, this is not for you. There are no TVs in the rooms. The hotel has less than 100 rooms. The beach is superb."
The Club, Barbados Resort & Spa Adults Only - All Inclusive

"The first leg of my flight was cancelled so I ended up arriving at the resort a day later than booked. Even though I called to notify the resort, they would not give me a refund for my missed first nights stay. I met a local that I invited to join me for dinner one evening at the resort restaurant. I felt at the very least they would make an accommodation for her, but they made a scene while we were having dinner that I would need to come to the podium and pay an extra $160 for her dinner. I’ve never been treated so poorly by a resort in all my travels."
Mango Bay All Inclusive

"Excellent hotel. Barbados has suffered with out of season storms. Mango Bay has maintained its beach and was great to spend most of our days there. The hotel is directly on the beach. Food was good. Service, in the main, was good. The hotel had some staffing issues, during the time we were there. However, this did not detract from our overall experience. We took advantage of the locals who take you out to swim with turtles. Lorenzo is highly recommended. Make sure you book an early swim, 09:30, don’t be late and you’ll get there before the 5 or 6 catamarans that head out a bit later! Overall we really enjoyed our holiday. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Shout out for Ross the restaurant manager, I believe, very professional, polite, friendly and helpful."

"A very good sized apartment, with all the amenities you need, that's within a 10 min walk of the beach, supermarket and bars & restaurants. Great value for money. Just be aware that there is only aircon in the bedroom. The other room (sitting/dining area) does have a fan but it does get pretty warm. But as mentioned, with the price charged, it is not unreasonable."

"It was very clean and nicely decorated. They had snacks and coffee at their little cafe booth. They were very accommodating and helpful. The decor was very nice. The only date back was that it said “king” bed but it was two twins put together which we did not care for. We were on our honeymoon and gap between the beds was inconvenient. Also, the AC unit was only in the bedroom but the livingroom should have one also because it’s hot and humid."
