“Our stay was fantastic - the host was great at responding to our needs and any questions we had during our stay. The house was lovely, very clean and was a perfect location for our exploration in the Cabot Trail and around Cheticamp. Would definitely recommend this wonderful vacation home!”

“The property was clean. The host was wonderful and readily available. They provided excellent directions and information about local places to eat, activities, and where to get supplies.”

“An Absolutely Wonderful Stay – A True Home Away from Home! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed at Chalet Gedouque on September 23 with our dear friends and my dog, and what an unforgettable experience it was! This charming cottage is, without a doubt, the most welcoming and beautifully appointed cottage we have ever stayed in. Honestly, the experience felt like staying at a six-star luxury retreat! Every corner of the cottage reflects the owners' incredible attention to detail and thoughtful care. From the……

“This accommodation is exactly as listed. The pictures are 100% accurate. The home is spotless and well-stocked with basics. The beds were comfy and the towels soft. There are even two washers and two dryers. The location is literally right off the Cabot Trail. There are some good restaurants nearby and and the larger Co-op grocery store is just the ticket to get whatever you need. It's only 30 minutes from Skyline Trail, too. Most importantly, the views from the back deck were breathtaking.……

“The rooms are very nice and clean. The view is amazing and location is convenient. The owner is very kind. We will definitely come back when our next trip and also recommend it to friends.”

“Perfect for a short stay in a great location for exploring the Cape Breton Highlands.”

“The accommodation was impeccably clean and great care and attention were given to every detail. The power went out in town during our stay and so that dampened the experience as we were unable to get dinner out as all restaurants and grocery stores were closed.”

“Property is on the main road sandwiched between another small house and a gravel driveway. In addition, out your living room window is a parking lot full of dry-docked lobster boats and several industrial buildings. Not pretty. It was dirty around the place. The bedroom also needs a fan above the bed. There is no moving air in that room! You cannot open the window as the street noise will pour in. Put in a ceiling fan! The communication with the “owner was a bit odd, until we realized it was……

“Just a little cold. But all good. Im enjoy the place . I’ll come back”

“I hadnt realized this was in an older RV, somehow. I thought it would be a small cabin. To get into bed was a little tricky to not hit your head on the overhang. There was a very tight space either side of the bed to get into it. The bathroom is tiny. The larger room is nice and bright, and the location in the woods is beautiful. It was very close to the concert we attended in Cheticamp. The owners had a fun sense of humor with labeling light switches and key chains.”
