The owners of this hotel desperately need to invest in their property. Gym - pathetic Outdoor pool - barely deep enough to swim in. Indoor pool - Hadn't been cleaned in a while. Black scum on the tiles. Reception Staff. Barely engaged eye contact or a smile. Housekeeping - great. Clean room everyday. Breakfast - great sausages, rubbish bacon. The toaster only toasted on one side everyday. Staff worked well to stay on top of the demands. The room - very very poor. The double bed was a foldout. Furniture was terrible. No thought to layout given a double bed/sofa, 2 single beds and a small TV. A microwave, but no plates or cutlery. A cooker switch, but no cooker. Kitchen sockets too close to worktop for a conventional plug and cable. We chose this hotel for the sizeable indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi and gym. Just incase the weather wasnt great, but we also like some downtime on holiday. Terrible decision was made. Sausages were good though, location was great if you like clubs for teenagers. If you want nice restaurants, go elsewhere. Air con was working and not too noisy.

Location of the hotel is very convenient - plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops nearby. St Julian's bay is close by and the hotel has a rooftop pool and bar as well to enjoy the sunset. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was good with a wide spread of fresh fruit, baked items and eggs - scrambled, fried and omelettes on different days.

The room we had for this hotel was fantastic. Lots of storage, a spotlessly clean room and bathroom with a balcony that had views out over the sea. The pool area on the basement level has a gym attached and it was spacious. The breakfast offering in the morning was good and there was plenty of food choices to choose from. One thing which was not explained to us at reception was the towel card which embarrassingly we then had to go back upstairs to our room to collect it otherwise there would have been a surcharge. Other than that minor blip, it was a great stay and would recommend to family and friends. Thank you.
