Great Location

This place was in a great location. Walking distance to just about everything you want or need. The Condo was great for our family's needs. Colin was very helpful and very quick to answer any questions we had!

Right on the water, food available within walking distance. Private beach. Host was very helpful! Everything you need for a wonderful stay. 5 gallon water mug in the condo. Near by beaches.

Fabulous views and location

We had a wonderful trip and really feel like we happened upon the best location. Great sunsets, fun restaurants, and a snorkeling right off the little private beach. Such a perfect spot! We were very comfortable and the place was well appointed.

PERFECT PLACE

We stayed at this perfect apartment for 11 nights and had a fabulous time. The apartment is perfectly positioned being close to everything you need eg bars, restaurants, convenience store and beautiful beaches. Colin was the perfect host and assisted us on many occasions. The apartment is spacious and comfortable and was perfect for my family of 4 in every way. Thanks Colin for a lovely stay.

Mistle Cove

Great host and location.Beautiful oceanfront views.Colin was friendly and helpful.Small beach area and pool Furnishings comfortable. Many bars restaurants within a short walk. Close to airport.Would stay there again.

Sounds of the Waves

We enjoyed our time at Mistle Cove. Condo is on 4th floor, there is an elevator, but took the stairs most of the time. Good proximity to restaurants, bars & Dover Beach. We were glad to have beach chairs provided with the unit. Pool was a nice option to start/end day. There is a small little beach area, not for swimming as current is too strong, but if you just want to sit on the beach, it's steps away and does have sun/shade.

OUTSTANDING!

This property is OUTSTANDING! From the sizes of the rooms to the INCREDIBLE balcony & views, everything was perfect for us. We loved staying right in the Gap and it was easy enough to get to all the other places we explored. Colin was wonderful to communicate with and Isha, who cleans, was just a doll. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Stay In St. Lawrence Gap

We just returned from a week staying at Colin's Mistle Cove 4th floor unit and can't say enough positive about our experience. The unit is spotless with nice amenities, the patio is large with a direct view of the pool and ocean, and Colin even made an effort to meet us personally to verify we were satisfied. Sharkey's and numerous excellent restaurants are right outside the door. Visit Mimosa next door for great food and a great view. He even arranged for a driver for transportation to and from the airport, which was very much appreciated. We definitely will contact Colin to stay at his place when we return to Barbados! Thanks for your hospitality, Colin!

All the comforts and great location.

We stayed 10 days and enjoyed the condo. Breakfast on the balcony with a spectacular ocean view. Condo is clean and has all the comforts of home. Colin was good to communicate with us. Isha visited twice to give us clean linens and empty trash bins. There are numerous restaurants and bars within walking distance. Dover beach is within walking distance also and is a good one for spending the day. Colin has provided a water cooler which was definitely an added feature. We refilled our water bottles daily to take on our outings. Beach chairs are also provided. Colin does a terrific job as host.

What a wonderful stay

This had to have been the best vacation home I've ever experienced. The property had a minor Issue with the AC, but it was rectified within 24 hours. Everything else was clean and in working order. But what made the stay special (other than the stunning ocean view from the balcony)were the little amenities that the property owner provided that makes this rental really stand out for me from past rentals. It really felt like being in a home away from home. I really enjoyed my 5 star stay thanks to a 5 star host.

Well kept and great location for nightlife

The property was as advertised, very spacious and clean. Some minor things (like the stove) are dated but clean and functional. The location is great and walk-able to restaurants and bars. Inside the condo and on the oceanfront balcony we couldn't hear any noise from the busy street. Small beach but we were the only ones that used it! AC's worked great. The 5 gallon bottled water dispenser was a great thing to have...very nice touch that we haven't seen at any other condos in the Caribbean.

Perfect Property

Colin was the best host we have ever had! The condo was very clean, had all of the necessities we needed and Colin even left a couple of surprises! He was so helpful and responsive to any needs that we had. The 4th floor was perfect to see turtles! Water was beautiful and you can't beat the sounds of the ocean 24/7. Even though you are in the Gap area , noise was never a problem and walking distance to so many restaurants! We will definitely be back and stay at this wonderful property again. There is plenty of room for another couple or a couple of kids to stay too!

Nice Location on the Water

We really like the location on the water. However, didn't realize quite how noisey it would get at night. We weren't there to party. But the "private" beach was great. Convenient to everything. Very clean and well equip. Beds are a bit hard, but we managed. AC worked everywhere, but best in the living room and 2nd bedroom. Onsuite did pretty good, but not as good as the others. The only thing we didn't like as much was the showers. None of the shower heads sprayed correctly. They were all clogged. Those should be fixed, but everything else was wonderful.

Really enjoyed our 1 week stay

It’s hard to add much that others haven’t already said in previous reviews. The view from the spacious balcony is fantastic. The unit is quite big (about 1,500 square feet) and well equipped. The host even had a number of beach chairs that we used most days. The unit is located within a minute walk of about a dozen restaurants, along with a couple of convenience stores very nearby. Beaches are not far away either - a bit more than 5 minutes one direction and a bit more than 10 minutes to one the other direction. We stayed the week without a car and walked to everything except the airport. The host arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the airport and accommodated us for a one hour later check-out. He also showed how things worked in the unit upon our arrival.

Relaxing stay at Mistle Cove Condo

I visited Barbados in 1990 for a cricket tournament; it has always been on our wish list and we were finally able to fulfill this wish. The condo is great and the view is one we will not forget in a long time. The taxi driver told us that St Lawrence Gap is "where it is happening" so this was encouraging. Even though there us a boisterous nightlife, the condo is generally quiet. We carry a noise machine which came in useful when one of the venues opposite has karaoke nights, which was twice during our week-long stay. The condo has everything you could want. There are air conditioning units and ceiling fans in each room. The washer and dryer were very useful and supplies are provided. The location is fully enclosed for security with codes and fobs needed to enter the building. There is extensive cable TV available. Bathrooms were very clean and well-equipped. Also to mention, there is a water cooler with a 5 gallon bottle which we loved. It saved us having to buy extra water which is needed given the temperatures and humidity which comes with a trip to Barbados.Our host Colin met us at the condo and was always available for questions and anything that cropped up. He even took me to the local supermarket on the first evening to pick up some supplies. He can arrange taxi to and from the airport. There are lots of eateries close by. We liked Mimosas, Harlequins and our local bar was Sharkeys. Harrison's Cave is definitely worth a visit. We hope to be back soon!
