「Don’t be fooled by the ambience of the outside of the hotel and the long drive.
Once inside very shabby rundown bedrooms, no consideration for disabled people. The breakfast room full of cob webs and broken furniture in the conservatory. A few things not available on the breakfast menu, in spite of saying it did. Boiled eggs, not an egg cup in kitchen!!!!!

「Aside from the location and proximity to a really wonderful beach, this was an incredibly disappointing 4* hotel. I can only assume the star rating is somehow tied to the prime location as there is little else to write home about here. The family room being the worst of all - terribly dated, still using a plastic shower curtain & a dilapidated balcony that stank of sewage. I don’t know if this is unavoidable due to rotting seaweed nearby or just the unfortunate positioning of some of the rooms...
「Loved: facilities, staff, food fantastic. Spa wonderful but some minor repairs required. Nothing to detract from our stay. Enjoyed tasting menu with wine flight and also James Martin’s restaurant. All in all a great stay, would definitely like to return」
