it served the purpose for a one night stay for the price, nice chap who runs it and pleasant staff,
Fantastic view, large windows, balcony. The hotel is not new but is clean and well maintained. Peter is a lovely man and made us feel very welcomed.
Recommend.
Lovely property right on the seafront. Within 2 minutes walk of bars and restaurants in St Leonards and 15 minutes walk of Hastings town. Lovely owner, very welcoming. Comfy, clean rooms.
After a long drive From Bristol and sorting through things after a bereavement, I found Grand Hotel very welcoming. The Manager Pete was very understanding to our situation. He made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We were in room 18 overlooking the beach and sea, the amnesties basic, kettle tea coffee etc, bathroom was equally good and clean. I can’t fault this hotel. Easy parking till 10am will be definitely be recommending the Hotel to Family and Friends.
Very friendly proprietor greeted us. He had sent a welcome email saying early check-in was available and we took advantage of this arriving just after 12.
They offer to keep your luggage on the day you leave so you can explore the area without the hassle of bags.
The hotel although a bit dated is very clean and very comfortable. We had a room at the top of the house with amazing seaviews.
The bed was comfortable and the bathroom although small was again very clean and had a lovely powerful shower.
All in all for a seafront property it was a great price and great value for money. Would definitely stay here again !!

Great views of the sea! Clean and comfortable very helpful lovely Man working there! 🌻
The hotel was very basic and in need of updating to the bedroom and the bathroom. The carpet was very stained, the bed duvet cover was very worn and bed was not very comfortable. The bathroom towels were also old and worn out. No toiletries were included. The outside of hotel was also not appealing with dirty windows and old fashioned net curtains. The only good thing about the hotel was the manager who was very nice and friendly. Hotel was expensive for the night at £100 and not value for money.
Good location near station and Clean Room.
There is No microwave, No kitchen facilities and no water facilities. We can’t access to restaurant. In term of Facilities there is nothing here.We have to buy everything from outside.
Our Rating is 5/10
I needed a room for the nite and it provided me with what i needed. I would suggest the matteresses are changed and the shower is looked at. They are either cold or really hot. It was difficult to modulate the temperature to a warm setting. The matress was too soft

Staff were very nice but the hotel itself looked and felt bit dingy, perhaps it was being refurbished
