The staff was very helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable but the best part is it’s less than a half a block from Busch Stadium. Might be a little pricey but we enjoyed the stay and will stay here again in the future.

The building exterior is very industrial but the interior is just about the typical Westin loo. It is located adjacent to the Cardinals baseball stadium but the area is very quiet which is very refreshing. The staff are exceptionally friendly and they strive to provide the service I have come to expect at the Westin. I did note all Westins are not created equal so some simple amenities were missing; for example no bath mats were available, so I had to use a towel to stand on when exiting the shower. I prefer not to use the same towel I use to dry with to place on the floor. I noted a safety issue in the room which I reported and expect it will be fixed so no one gets injured. The lighting down the hallways on the occupied floors should be a little brighter as the hallways can be a long spooky walk from the elevator to the room depending. on your room location. The staff are exceptionally nice and friendly so I did enjoy my stay and would do so again.

The best part of this hotel is Tom R. , the valet who is professional, warm, charming and helpful. The rest needs serious work. The rooms are dirty, furniture stained, light bulbs burned out and never replaced in spite of repeated requests, one elevator refused to allow us to ever press 7, the floor we were on, the entrance is dirty, empty planter boxes and crooked railings, and the "club" room was so dirty my feet stuck to the floor. And half the time the room keys don't work in their antiquated entry system. Go somewhere else

We always love staying at the Westin every year when we take our trip to St. Louis. I was a little disappointed this go around. Air was not working correctly, blow dryer smelt like it was about to catch on fire, and the big blanket and stains where it hadn’t been changed out.

This is my first time staying here for opening day, St. Louis Cardinals. While the hotel, the room, the workout room was clean and big and they had Peloton in their workout room, their key cards did not work all weekend so we were not able to get into our room in a timely manner nor into the Club room, nor the fitness room without going back every single time to the front desk and asking for a new key card and sometimes that would work and sometimes it wouldn’t. They just shrugged it off like it was no big deal but having to go back and forth 17 times in our stay or more was very inconvenient .

The area of downtown seemed a little safer than some other parts. We walked everywhere and took public transportation too. Only during the day. We were in a accessible room so I am not sure if it is used often. The hairdryer was missing, a light burnt out (hotel fixed both issues) had to go to the 5th floor for ice and a microwave.

Had a great time. Easy walk to a lot of great sights, restaurants, and bars. Stadium and arch are right there. Hotel bar had nice cold beer and sports on all day.

Valentine’s Day was the worst! Hotel was getting air fixed (which they didn’t mention upon check in) so there was no air in the building AT ALL! Excellent hotel in a renovated warehouse directly next door to Busch stadium. It was an easy walk to the Enterprise center from the hotel as well. The room was awesome with a very high ceiling and felt very spacious and clean. Loved everything about this hotel!

So we weren’t informed when we arrived that their Ac/heating system had blown out. Would’ve been kind to inform people and also not to hide an issue. The room was lovely. Was supposed to have a view of ballpark, but did not. No big deal. There weren’t many amenities that almost all Westins have like shower caps, tissues, or lotion. All have to be requested and I was told they were short staffed and out of most things due to a volleyball tournament that the city was hosting. Ok—so you’re saying you’re not prepared for this, though you should be stocked for each room? I’m confused. The first night our room was about 78 degrees and we woke hoping for a new room. 1 room was available but drawers were open, cushions were lifted and it wasn’t clean. We said no thank you. Also our room had two blown out lights, meaning the rooms aren’t inspected for damages or repairs. I made a request and it was fixed. The maintainance worker was kind and had come at 9:30am and we were still sleeping so he said he would come back at 12. Later he said he couldn’t come in because hotel policy says if you hand the do not disturb sign they can’t come in. Fair. Yet, housekeeping had made our beds and changed towels. So not sure about that. Day 2 we had to switch hotels because the heat was so extreme in our room. Westin paid for it, but honestly, it was me doing a lot of complaining/being annoying to get help. The location is great, but if anyone books there, ask ahead about any ac/heating issues.

Hospitality? I think not.
I can't believe this is a Westin. Having stayed in Westins across the globe the St. Louis hotel bearing the name shows little resemblance when it comes to service, client satisfaction or managerial ability. This hotel defended their decision to schedule loud hallway carpet cleaning during the evening and nigh hours creating a loud, disruptive environment that the desk clerk and night manager refused to correct. When asked they rudely and begrudgingly changed my room (a further inconvenience). Upon checkout, the clerk was unable to print an invoice. The valet was nowhere to be seen at 6pm. It's appalling and unacceptable.
